Tremendosaur on Current TV’s New Year’s Eve Countdown

posted by Justin in Holiday Rant, current tv December 14th, 2007

Top71 Hi-ho, friends of Tremendosaur!

We’ve got some pretty exciting news to share: Current TV has chosen our Halloween Rant to be a part of their TOP 71 PODS OF 2007.

That means you can see our pretty little faces (not to mention yours truly, naked, holding a cat) on cable TV ranting about Halloween against the snowy backdrop of December.

Think of it as Tremendosaur’s nod to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or just think of it as Current TV really digging our stuff.

But wait, there’s MORE! Current’s offering Tremendosaur fans like YOU the opportunity to send in an intro for the piece explaining why you like it, and then airing it on cable TV. Neat!

No need for fancy equipment - anything from a digital camera to a webcam’ll do the trick. Go HERE for more details.

Halloween Rant will start re-airing December 28th and continue to do so until we ring in 2008.

DO IT UP!

You know, maybe Tremendosaur’s been focusing too much on comedy, and not enough on serious, real-life problems.

So, with this short, we decided to tackle the super-serious issue of sexual harassment in the workplace.

Okay, not quite.

But with a name like Tickle My Butt, how could you possibly resist watching

Drop whatever it is you’re doing and check it out!

Unless you’re painting a Faberge Egg. Don’t drop that.

New Short: Halloweenies (on Current TV)

posted by Tremendosaur in Holiday Rant, current tv, internet, television October 28th, 2007

We’re excited to announce that we just launched a new sketch for Current about why we think Halloween is overrated. You can view it on the web or on their TV channels… if you even WATCH TV, that is.

Check it out if you like Halloween and / or want to see a naked Justin holding a black cat. And to think that cat is completely CG! It looks SO real!!

Current Lowdown featuring Tremendosaur

posted by Jacob in current tv, internet, television October 16th, 2007

heartbreakpod.jpgGet your DVRs ready, because Tremendosaur is coming to your TV this week.

We just did reviews of The Heartbreak Kid and The Darjeeling Limited for Current TV’s “Current Lowdown”. For those who don’t know, Current is a new cable channel that I’d sum up as being a cross between PBS and MTV. They just won an Emmy for Best Interactive Television Service, and some guy on their board of directors just won the Nobel Peace Prize. So yeah, they’re doing alright.

But enough about them, let’s talk about us!

Current’s programming is randomly generated, kind of like your iTunes shuffle, but you can see the next several hours of programming by clicking here. You’ll notice the next time “Current Lowdown: The Darjeeling Limited” is playing is 4:25pm, at which point I will be at the gym, watching myself on the elliptical with the personal TV set, and trying to get recognized.

Our reviews of both Darjeeling and The Heartbreak Kid will be airing on Current once or twice a day for the next two months, but if you want immediate satisfaction, watch them online using the links below:

Current Lowdown: The Darjeeling Limited

Current Lowdown: The Heartbreak Kid

We’re also working with Current on a top secret project that involves Tremendosaur and our favorite holiday. Can’t say anymore now, but stay tuned.

The Number 24 goes global

posted by Jacob in internet, shorts, the number 24, viral, youtube September 29th, 2007

24flags.pngEarlier this month, The Number 24 was featured by YouTube. In the past few weeks we’ve gotten a ton of views from around the world.

I am also proud to announce that The Number 24 has been featured under the YouTube comedy category in NINE other countries.

24globalfeatured.jpgApparently, The Number 24 is a big hit in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland and Brazil.

If you look carefully, you can see all of these flags in a frame of the short itself. Seriously. Go take a look!

UPDATE: “The Number 24″ has now been featured by YouTube in Germany, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Russia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  That’s EIGHT more countries who put The Number 24 at Number 1!
