ucbcomedy_logo.pngUCB just launched a new comedy/video site called UCBcomedy.com. It’s a place where UCB performers can upload totally awesome video of their improv, sketches, pranks, etc.

The site is pretty awesome - it’s got videos of live shows at both UCB New York and Los Angeles, as well as tons of stuff from Human Giant, ImprovEverywhere, Derrick and more!

On top of all that, UCBcomedy.com included two Tremendosaur shorts in their launch: The Number 24, and Old People vs. Technology. Pretty sweet! Thanks UCB!

Lasagna Cat

Stop what you’re doing. If you enjoy things that are funny, or things that are on the internet, you need to read this.

Double-stop what you’re doing if you like things that are condescendingly asshole-ish to Jim Davis, the creator of Garfield.

Triple-stop if you think Garfield is stupid.

Here at Tremendosaur, we think Jim Davis’ daily Garfield strip is an ongoing parade of mediocrity; one that needs to be stopped. Enter Lasagna Cat, a venture from the LA-based production house Fatal Farms, whose mission statement is: “One man lives with the burden of making the entire world laugh every day… It’s time we showed him just how much we cared.”

Each short is a re-enactment of a Garfield strip, followed by a musical montage/tribute to Jim Davis. My personal favorites are:

Some of them aren’t as good as others, but the batting average is pretty high overall. The attention to detail on these things is out of control, and boy does it deliver! Do yourself a solid, and check them out.
