Whoa, where have we been? Working on tons of new stuff, that’s where. But before we reveal any of the fun surprises we’ve got under our belt, we filmed a quick Valentine’s Day short for you guys.

And since Valentine’s Day also happens to be my birthday, you can think of this as a birthday gift. A birthday gift from me to you on my birthday.

No time for logic, watch the short!

Stop what you’re doing. If you enjoy things that are funny, or things that are on the internet, you need to read this.

Double-stop what you’re doing if you like things that are condescendingly asshole-ish to Jim Davis, the creator of Garfield.

Triple-stop if you think Garfield is stupid.

Here at Tremendosaur, we think Jim Davis’ daily Garfield strip is an ongoing parade of mediocrity; one that needs to be stopped. Enter Lasagna Cat, a venture from the LA-based production house Fatal Farms, whose mission statement is: “One man lives with the burden of making the entire world laugh every day… It’s time we showed him just how much we cared.”

Each short is a re-enactment of a Garfield strip, followed by a musical montage/tribute to Jim Davis.My personal favorites are:

• 5/22/1980
• 5/16/1987

Some of them aren’t as good as others, but the batting average is pretty high overall. The attention to detail on these things is out of control, and boy does it deliver! Do yourself a solid, and check them out.
